We Are Embassy - are making their musical debut at Kelvfest
2010. It's their only gig before their official launch night at
Colchester Arts Centre on 31st July, so go see them & witness
history in the making.

Formerly British Standard, the Clacton three piece are back to
get you dancing again! Bringing with them their brand of 60’s
sounds gently infused with new tones and influence. This is not
just a band...this is a ruddy good pleasure for all the senses to
enjoy. Just add a tent, a crowd, and some beverages, give it a
nice set list, and hey presto, music to your ears.

We Are Embassy are Matt Wye on vocals, guitar and synth, Rob
Norris bass guitar, and Andy Clements on drums. The addition of
electro synths to back up the bluesy vintage tone will have their
fans screaming out for more. They list their influences as Led
Zeppelin, Foo Fighters, Biffy Clyro, The Strokes, The Who, Talking
Heads, ACDC, Blur, Kasabian, iForward, Russia!... Top pedigree!

That official launch night at Colchester Arts Centre is going to be a
classic. It is promoted by those Essex Rocks legends and will also
feature Housework, the Kuru Smile and Future of Legends!!! Tis
sure to be an explosive night...

These guys rocked Kelvedon Festival as British Standard in 2008,
they are back to do that again, and a whole lot more. They are
